The topic of Jews and Sport is often seen as a source of humour, with Jews supposedly not being interested in, let alone good at, sport. United States Ambassador Mark Gilbert's own history challenges this view -long before his current career as a diplomat, the Ambassador was a professional baseball player with the White Sox.  He will touch on tales from his own playing days, what it was like to be a Jewish player in a professional league - and whether Jews and sport do mix!
